Tom Esselman, CEO, will be in Cleveland from April 17-19 at Net Inclusion, the only national conference on equitable access and use of the internet. Topics discussed will include: Challenges, strategies and funding for affordable home broadband, digital literacy training and affordable devices.

On Thursday, April 19th from 1PM-2PM, Esselman will be speaking alongside Lisa Chambers (National Executive Director of TECH CORPS), Stu Johnson (Vice President of Digital Works, Connected Nation) and Creola Rice (CEOGC). The title of the workshop is called Digital Inclusion Funding Through Workforce Development (Including Certifications). People seeking employment are a big part of the constituency served by many local digital initiatives. This session will focus on programs that integrate digital skills training with employment programs, including certification training, and look at Workforce Investment funding and other support opportunities in the workforce system.
